  • Expiration date is printed on the label of each jar.

  • All the jars containing sauces have twist-off safety caps. You should not be able to compress the centre of the cap before opening for the first time. Once opened a characteristic sound will be heard (klak). This sound is your guarantee that the product is pasteurised and has not been opened previously. Do not consume products if the centre of the lid is not compressed.

  • Before open, store at room -temperature, away from heat sources or direct sunlight.

  • Before you open the jar gently shake to bring out all the flavour and homogenize the contents.

  • Once opened the jar should be refrigerated and consumed within 4-5 days.

    CastiLioni products do not contain additives or preservatives.

  • A jar of CastiLioni sauce is sufficient for a 4-person meal. But this is a very general rule. The family habits and the type of food determine the exact quantity of the product needed.
